Edward A. Buchanan (born October 19, 1967 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida) is an attorney in Torrington, Wyoming, who is a former member and the past Speaker of the Wyoming House of Representatives. He was succeeded as Speaker on January 8, 2013, by Tom Lubnau of Gillette in Campbell County. Before his Speakership, he had been the Wyoming House Majority Leader. A Republican, Buchanan represented House District 4 from 2003 until 2012, first in Goshen County and then from Platte and Converse counties.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Edward Buchanan )〕 Buchanan ran for Wyoming Secretary of State in 2014, narrowly losing the contest despite being outspent nearly four to one. Buchanan moved to Wyoming when two years old. Buchanan holds both bachelor's and law degrees from the University of Wyoming at Laramie. He also received a master's degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder. From 1990-1994, he was in the United States Air Force. He has two daughters, Erin and Emily Buchanan.
